梅岭社区是广东省湛江市吴川市梅菉街道下辖的社区。名称来历：社区办公地设在梅岭，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区现称梅岭居委会，名称自1999年沿用；此前的1983年称管理区，1958年称大队，1952年称乡公所，1950年最早作行政村。[1]

概况[edit]

梅岭社区在吴川市城区中心，吴川市委、市政府驻在该社区，面积2.5平方千米，户籍总数为18789人，常住7503人，下设新建南、新建北、坡心岭、上菜园、下菜园、蔗坡6个居民小组。[1][2]

梅岭是吴川飘色的传承基地：飘色2008年入选国家级非物质文化遗产名录；社区在2011年成为省级非遗传承基地，中国侨联在2016年认定梅岭飘色艺术团为「中国华侨国际文化交流基地」。[2] 社区也被称作抗日救国大刀队的发源地。[2]

2024年1月，社区在2024年1月获定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，并于2025年5月进入「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」；2012年被评为广东省先进文化社区。[1][2]
