吴蓬村为北和镇所辖行政村，在雷州市境内。[1]吴蓬村、昌文村、沙土村1951年并入海康港，同康村等村合编为海康县第四区；1951年底成立海康港乡，1964年隶北和公社海康港大队，1979年立吴蓬管理区，包括吴蓬、昌文、沙土三村，1999年定名吴蓬村民委员会。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

吴蓬村、昌文村、沙土村1951年并入海康港，同康村等村合编为海康县第四区；1951年底成立海康港乡，1964年隶北和公社海康港大队，1979年立吴蓬管理区，包括吴蓬、昌文、沙土三村，1999年定名吴蓬村民委员会。[2]

广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2019年9月公布）中有该村。[1]
