康村为北和镇所辖行政村，在雷州市境内。[1]康村（今称康村村）与吴蓬等村一同属于海康港一带，1949至1951年并入海康县第四区，1951年底设海康港乡；1958至1959年归龙门大公社，1964年成为北和公社海康港大队，由康村、康居、吴蓬三处组成，约4100人。1984年成立康康村乡，1987年2月改村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年定名村民委员会。[2]

康村（今称康村村）与吴蓬等村一同属于海康港一带，1949至1951年并入海康县第四区，1951年底设海康港乡；1958至1959年归龙门大公社，1964年成为北和公社海康港大队，由康村、康居、吴蓬三处组成，约4100人。1984年成立康康村乡，1987年2月改村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年定名村民委员会。[2]
康村村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2019年9月公布），2022年9月又被认定为湛江市文明村（2022年度）。[1]
