红屋村为北和镇所辖行政村，在雷州市境内。[1]红屋村的前身是龙屋大队，民国至1959年单独存在，1959至1961年一度与斗六大队合并。随后分设村委会，1962至1982年为红屋村委会；1982至1987年与北样、北和合组北和乡，1987年2月三村各自重设村委会，1989年改为红屋管理区，1999年定名红屋村民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

红屋村的前身是龙屋大队，民国至1959年单独存在，1959至1961年一度与斗六大队合并。随后分设村委会，1962至1982年为红屋村委会；1982至1987年与北样、北和合组北和乡，1987年2月三村各自重设村委会，1989年改为红屋管理区，1999年定名红屋村民委员会。[1]

2021年9月，红屋村列入广东省第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单，产品为辣椒。[1]
