历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村民委员会所在的沈塘圩。[1]沈塘大队设于1958年，1984年改为沈塘乡，1987年2月成立沈塘村委会，1989年称沈塘管理区，1999年起称沈塘村民委员会。[1]
