历史沿革[edit]
平余村的前身是1958年设立的平余大队，1984年称平余乡，1987年2月称平余村委会，1989年称平余管理区，1999年起为平余村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，平余村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
