沈塘社区位于广东省湛江市雷州市沈塘镇的镇中心区，是沈塘镇人民政府所在的社区，居委会驻地在沈塘圩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区的名称来自居民委员会的驻地沈塘圩。[1]这一建制先后几经更名：1958年设大队，1984年改设乡，1988年定为居民委员会，1991年称管理区，1999年起称沈塘社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
2019年9月，沈塘社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
