历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，地名资料的说法是：村委会选址在三条小河交汇处。[2]沿革方面：1963年自野鸭塘大队分出，此后设三合大队；其后1964年因与山合大队读音相近，此后改称三甲大队；其后1980年地名普查时，此后因与新民的三甲大队同名，此后又改回三合大队；其后1983年春设三合村委会，此后同年冬称三合乡，此后1986年称三合管理区，此后1999年改为三合村民委员会。[1]

村中种养的有水稻、蔬菜和水果，荔枝产量较多；有石料加工、木材加工、运输等副业。[1]该页载耕地895亩、山地4583亩。[1]
