田界村是廉江市新民镇的行政村，辖九坡、田界村、后背村、外村、旧屋等9条自然村；村民约2306人，耕地1801亩，种外运菜、水果和稻谷。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传先人居住处原有几口小池塘，都种莲藕，起初以“莲芥”为名，后取方言谐音写作田界。[1]1953年为田界乡，1958年为田界大队，1983年改乡，1987年为管理区，1999年成为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年1月，入选「湛江市2020年度全市先进文明村」及「全市文明村」名单。[1]
