丰九百村是廉江市新民镇的行政村，辖丰九百、牛其洋、鸦翠根、黄村仔等5条自然村；村民约2538人，耕地1408亩，种外运菜、稻谷，并有水产养殖。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名有一则说法：某年原指望收一千石粮食，丰收后实得九百石，先祖遂以“丰九百”为村名。[1]1958年以前属铺洋区，1958年设丰九百大队，1983年改乡，1987年为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2022年9月，被认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」。[1]
