新中社区是广东省湛江市廉江市罗州街道辖下的社区，1991年2月组建，名称来自原新兴管理区按位置分设的新北、新中、新南三个居委会[1][3]。

地理与社会[edit]

辖区约1平方公里，东邻黎湛铁路，南接人民大道东路，西到中山三路，北到新兴一街[2]。简介称有户3591户、总人口8186人（未注明年份），产权单位26个，设有社区卫生服务站、棋牌室、健身室、文艺室和藏书1500多册的阅览室[2]。省综治委曾在2003年授予居委会「帮教工作先进单位」称号[2]。2004年5月廉城镇撤销、设街道后，社区归罗州街道管辖；2019年9月，新中社区入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
