地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记，村里8个自然村的分布如同星辰，又集中在三个地方，所以叫三星。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

三星在1952年设乡。1958年并入新安，两者合为新安大队；1978年分出，单独成立三星大队；1987年再并入新安，恢复新安管理区；1999年又与新安分开，设三星村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年9月，湛江市把三星村认定为当年的「文明村」。[1]
