泉井村是龙头镇下辖的行政村，1957年设泉井大队，1999年从莫村分出，自立为村民委员会[1]。2022年9月认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1957年设泉井大队，归龙头公社；1983年与莫村大队合并为莫村乡，隶龙头区公所，此后先后属莫村村委会、莫村管理区[1]。1999年从莫村分出，成立泉井村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

泉井村于2019年9月名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
