上蒙村是龙头镇下辖的行政村，建制可上溯到新中国成立初期的上蒙乡[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初是上蒙乡，在吴川县第七区；1957年降为上蒙小乡，并入龙头乡，1958年又属龙头公社[1]。1965年设上蒙大队，1983年称上蒙乡，隶龙头区公所[1]。1987年3月设村委会，1990年起叫上蒙管理区，1999年定名上蒙村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

上蒙村于2019年9月名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
