沙云村位于鹤山市龙口镇西北部，由原沙洞村、云南村两个村委会合并而成，各取一字得名；辖区面积约6平方千米，设9个村民小组，人口2496人（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
沙洞、云南两村清代属古劳都，1958年称沙洞、云南大队，1998年起分称村民委员会，2004年（另一处记为2005年5月）合并为沙云村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村有山地4000多亩、鱼塘300多亩、耕地约1900亩，种植水稻和蔬菜，养猪养鱼；境内青年水库建有小型水电站，装机容量100千瓦。[1]2021年12月获评2021年广东省卫生村；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
