霄南村是鹤山市龙口镇东部的行政村，下分东丰、新中、坑尾、七九、高水、东门、北门、礼奎8个村民小组，总面积2.6平方千米，距龙口圩约2公里。[1][2]村民以源氏为主，源氏为鲜卑后裔，南宋咸淳年间迁来。[2]2019年，霄南村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：开村之初四周筑有围墙，设东、南、西、北四座门楼，称坚城乡；后因土地肥沃，与原籍相比有「霄壤」之别，改称「宵乡」，又作「宵南」，今写霄南。[1]清代属鹤山县古劳都；1958年称霄南大队，1983年称霄南乡，1986年称霄南管理区，1998年起称霄南村民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载有常住人口1937人（男916人、女1021人）、547户，该条未注明统计年份。[1]

经济[edit]

全村有耕地约1200亩、鱼塘约600亩，鱼塘连片，保有水乡风貌；村民多外出经商务工，村里在邻近镇区的位置上发展小加工厂和商铺。[1]据镇政府2024年工作报告，霄南强村富民公司以资金入股本地肉牛企业，并与本地茶厂合作生产罐装甘和茶，当年村集体经济收入同比增长144.27%。[3]

村中主要姓氏为源氏，宗祠有源氏大宗祠等。[2]

文化[edit]

龙口牛肉制作技艺、源吉林甘和茶均列入江门市级非物质文化遗产。[2]2019年，村被广东省文化和旅游厅认定为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」，并入选第六批广东省古村落名单。[1]2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村，2024年4月，广东省首批乡村振兴示范村创建名单中有霄南村。[1]暨南大学、五邑大学在村内挂牌设立铸牢中华民族共同体意识实践基地，「霄南鲜卑古村落」列入鹤山市首批中小学生研学实践教育基地。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

大霖温公祠（七九村）、近湖源公祠（礼奎村前）、乐隐源公祠（北门村）均为清代古建筑，2019年4月19日公布为第五批文物保护单位。[1]
