沙洲村是广东省江门市开平市赤水镇北部的行政村，由原沙洲、旗尾、黄狮坑三村合并而成，隔河与台山市白沙镇相望，辖17个村民小组。[1]

该村在赤水镇政府以北16公里，到开平南高铁站约20分钟车程，辖区面积9.3平方千米，人口2189人。村民收入靠种养业和外出务工，集体经济主要来自房屋与铺位出租。[1]

文化[edit]

沙洲是侨乡，出过多位知名乡贤，包括香港恒生银行前董事长利国伟、近代音乐家司徒梦岩，以及广东嘉士利食品集团董事局主席黄铣铭。[1]沙洲的回龙村是司徒梦岩的家乡，镇里计划以音乐为主题开发文旅项目。[2]

村庄建设[edit]

村里设有开平首个省级「博爱家园」项目，2019年6月由开平市红十字会申报，同年10月获批。馆内分设红十字会办公室、志愿者活动室、展览室和一个微型的生命安全体验馆，并有3间供贫困户谋生的爱心屋。时任驻村第一书记陈锦钜担任项目领导小组组长。[1]

沙洲村是江门市的美丽红色侨村，也是省级生态宜居美丽乡村的创建单位，并入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型村。村里与企业合作建设现代生态农业示范区，种植丝苗米，又把闲置旧宅「赤水红楼」改作民宿；自来水普及率达100%。[3][4]
