沙洲村是韶关市乐昌市廊田镇辖下的行政村，位于廊田河与西溪河交汇处以北，西接岩前村，南隔河与廊田村相望，北面和东北面与嶂下村委相连，离镇政府约2公里。[1]
面积约8平方千米，耕地1767亩，林地735.2公顷；辖17个自然村，523户2210人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，沙洲村在1958年设沙洲大队，1983年改设沙洲乡政府，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年又设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
据村情资料，这里田垌开阔平坦，种有优质水稻、蔬菜和香芋，是廊田镇高产稳产的村委会之一；2009年农民人均收入为5191元。[1]
