瑶村社区在广东省江门市蓬江区杜阮镇境内，原为瑶村村民委员会，2017年村改居，成立社区居委会。距杜阮圩镇约2.5公里，在江门市区西北约5公里处。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清乾隆年间（1735—1795年），本村区望廉考中举人，题名「瑶溪」，后来称为瑶村；当时称瑶溪乡。[1]
民国时期，瑶村一带属新会县第三区楼山乡。1958年并入杜阮镇楼山管理区的辖区，1961年起为瑶村大队。1984年改称瑶芦乡，1988年再改称瑶村管理区，1999年设立瑶村村委会，沿用至今。2002年，杜阮镇划归蓬江区管辖。2017年村改居，改设社区居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
总面积2.77平方公里，下设4个村民小组，共288户，常住人口1113人，外来人口约2500人。耕地70亩，鱼塘58亩，山林地1400亩。[1]
经济[edit]
村里走工业强村的路子，办有企业70多家。[1]
荣誉[edit]
瑶村社区在2012年10月被司法部、民政部确定为「第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
