历史沿革[edit]
传说清代村民常在榕树下拴牛，人们称这里为「牛圳」，后来嫌不雅，改成梅圳。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区面积2平方千米，有梅东、中和、梅北、三才围和会龙5个自然村，设10个经济社；九樵路、龙高路和珠二环三条镇级以上的道路经过。[2]
经济[edit]
镇内有名气的企业，如新信利、卓盛两家制衣厂，以及九江工业园区，都陆续在社区落脚。[2]
文化[edit]
社区获得过广东省卫生村、广东省「六好」平安和谐社区、佛山市生态示范村、佛山市「十好」和谐文明村、南海区四星级健康村等称号。[2]
