石头村是佛山市禅城区石湾镇街道中部的行政村，地处东平新城核心区，南临东平河，全村面积约0.94平方千米，设9个村民小组和1个渔民村（十队村）。[2]明代礼部尚书霍韬是石头乡人，村里的霍氏祠堂群建于明嘉靖年间。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年3月，石头乡政府撤销，成立石头村民委员会，隶属澜石镇；1989年8月改设管理区办事处，1999年4月复称村民委员会。[1]2003年9月，该村划归新设的澜石街道；2006年6月，澜石街道再并入石湾镇街道。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村情介绍称，村里常住1360户、3400人，另有流动人口约15000人（均未注明年份），共产党员85人。[2]村里原是五金与不锈钢制品的集散地，后来与黎冲、石梁两村联手拆除13家陶瓷厂，建成17万平方米的澜石国际金属交易中心；2006年启动的「滨海御庭」被称为佛山市第一个旧村改造项目。[2]

石头村在2021年、2022年的淘宝村名单中有名，2026年3月又被认定为省第三批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

文化[edit]

据村情介绍，明代这里已建有石头书院供霍氏族人读书；1992年，在香港乡亲霍藻棉家族和村民捐助下建成石头小学新校舍，并更名为霍藻棉小学，1994年霍陈秀苗幼儿园落成。[2]1938年，村民自发伏击日军，九名抗日英雄牺牲，葬在大山园，村里立有纪念碑，每年农历九月初四组织干部、群众和学生献花。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

霍氏家庙祠堂群创建于明嘉靖四年（1525年），到嘉庆年间曾重修。它本是四座并排的建筑，最右一座是霍文敏公家庙（即石头书院），向左依次为霍氏家庙、椿林霍公祠和霍勉斋公家庙；2003年至2005年修缮时，又在右侧添建荫苗纪德堂。主体为头门、前殿、正殿三进的四合院布局，居中的霍氏家庙最大，前殿天井有四柱三间的石牌坊。[2]村情介绍称这组建筑属广东省级文物保护单位。[2]

据光绪《石头霍氏族谱》，二世祖椿林公在明洪武初年因焙鸭蛋致富，人称「霍鸭氏」。[2]

著名人物[edit]

霍韬（1487—1540年），字渭先，号兀崖，谥文敏，正德九年（1514年）会试第一，至嘉靖十五年（1536年）做到礼部尚书、加太子少保，是明代「大礼议」中的重要人物。[2][3]
