水头村是广东省汕头市潮南区红场镇的行政村。位于红场镇东部，距镇政府驻地约5公里，属山地丘陵区的纯农山区村。[1]

村在一条溪流的上端，故名水头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代立村。1950年起归雷岭乡；1958年公社化，成立水头大队；1983年起隶水头乡；1986年起设水头村委会；1992年改称水头管理区；1999年又恢复村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村共有3313人（604户），是红场镇人口第二多的村；山地6817亩，耕地156亩。[1]

村民有李、罗、黄、卢等姓，种植青梅、杨梅、淮山、龙眼、油甘等，收入主要靠外出务工。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
