桶盘村在和谷公路中段，东邻草尾村，西接洋美村；村北依山，村地呈圆形，故名桶盘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清顺治年间（1644年起），先人到此建村。1951年曾与胜前、埔头合为和北乡，1953年并入东联乡；1959年独立设大队，归铜盂公社；1984年一度并入胜前乡，1988年重新分设，1999年称村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

2520人（461户），海外华侨和港澳台同胞540人；区域面积1.37平方千米，耕地463亩，产稻谷、甘蔗；有石料加工、竹器，以及纺织、针织、塑料加工企业5家。[1]
