深坽村在灵山护国禅寺山脚，与谷饶镇毗邻，属铜盂镇东山片区；因村境三面环山、地形幽深而名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历三十六年（1608年）先人到此建村，1958年成立深坽农业生产大队，隶铜盂公社；1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

村域一千二百多亩，住宅用地约400亩，农用地259亩，工业用地310亩，林地219亩；3271人（508户），由徐、李、林三姓组成，237省道穿村而过，以纺织手工业为主，农业为辅。[1]
