潮港村在北港运河中游南侧，毗邻贵屿镇，由潮美、港墘两村合并而成，是革命老区村，也是台胞村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

元泰定二年（1325年）先人创潮美村，港墘村更早；1951年两村行政合并，改称潮港村，1962年成立潮港农业生产大队，隶铜盂公社，1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

全村5013人（944户），其中60岁以上498人；耕地1244亩。海外华侨和港澳同胞约1000人，台湾同胞约1300人，侨胞捐资修学校、村道和桥梁。工副业有日用五金、服装纺织等。[1]
