双岐村由岐头、岐内两个自然村组成，在小北山下，与贵屿镇、谷饶镇交界，是铜盂镇侨乡之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖七年（1528年）建岐头村，清康熙五十二年（1713年）建岐内村，1951年两村合并，称双岐村；1962年成立双岐农业生产大队，1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

全村3449人（656户），海外华侨和港澳台同胞2000多人；耕地约906.72亩，种水稻、甘薯，南临北港运河，有公路接洪和公路。[1]
