玉窖村在铜盂镇西北部小北山下，南临北港运河，与贵屿镇东洋村接壤，明弘治元年（1488年）由福建莆田迁来的先人创立。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
村在溪流转弯之处，原称横窖村，后改雅称玉窖村。[1]
人口经济与古迹[edit]
全村2770人（486户），总面积1100多亩，耕地559亩，种水稻、甘薯；副业有服装、针织、塑料制品，部分村民从事传统镶牙业。博雅地名网记，村东的麒麟桥，相传是唐代进士洪奋虬修建；南宋末年文天祥的军队也曾路过。[1]
2022年10月，玉窖村列入2022年「淘宝村」名单。[1]
