屿北村在铜盂镇西北部，因位于壬屿山北面得名，是该镇的侨乡之一，北通洪和公路，南有铜贵公路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明永乐年间（1402—1424），福建人到潮阳讲学，见壬屿山平地突起、林木葱郁，便在山北定居，称壬屿北村。土改后称屿山初级社，1958年成立屿北农业生产大队，隶红锋公社；1984年屿北、屿南、树香三村合并为屿香乡，1988年分开，1999年称屿北村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

辖区123公顷，3850人（690户），海外华侨和港澳台同胞2000多人；耕地960亩，主种水稻、甘薯。村东有清代所建的壬屿庵。[1]
