树香村在铜盂镇的西北，离镇区十公里，处于谷饶、贵屿两镇之间，西侧有北港运河，东接洪和公路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明隆庆二年（1568年），先人迁来立村，因旧时灌木丛生、周围是大片田洋，叫树仔洋村，后改称树香村。1958年以前属红峰公社，1959年成立树香农业生产大队；1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会，1988年称管理区，1999年复称村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

全村2100人（382户），耕地550亩，种水稻、甘薯和香蕉，副业有制瓦砖、烧贝灰。2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
