潮联社区在汕头市潮阳区和平镇，原名草潮，位于练江东畔；草潮分潮联、潮明两处聚落，1967年合一，称潮联。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村志类材料称明洪武年间（1368—1398年）祖先到此创村，名草潮村。1958年起为草潮农业生产大队，隶和平公社，1984年改作草潮乡，1986年建村委会，1999年又改居民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

简介称社区有600户、3900人，土地1400.9亩，其中耕地250亩，约四成人口从事二、三产业（简介未注年份）。[1]2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
