高丰社区在汕头市潮阳区和平镇东北面，前身是高厝寮村，在练江下游、324国道的南侧，与金浦街道梅东居委相邻。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

村名原作高厝寮，后寄寓丰收之意，改称高丰。村志类材料称明洪武年间（1368—1398年），高氏祖先在塔寮定居。1958年起为高丰农业生产大队，村委会时期仍沿用高厝寮之名，2002年才改称高丰居委会。[1]

经济[edit]

简介称社区有322户、1957人，土地910.5亩，其中耕地550.8亩（简介未注年份）。[1]2017年10月获第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]
