村名因位于华阳片下陇乡西侧而得。[2]

经济[edit]

村有2566户12872人（该页未注明年份），山地4232亩，其中果林120亩，耕地约1923.9亩（1.3平方千米系辖区面积），人均纯收入在2013年为4023元。[1]村民多在外从事建筑业，施工队长不少，近年捐资助建了水改、道路、学校和医疗设施。[3]
