河溪社区在汕头市潮阳区河溪镇，是镇政府所在地，地处榕江出海口，靠近234省道，据博雅地名网所述距潮阳城区约8公里。[1]

社区名称的来历是：境内一条河由西向东汇入溪流。[2]

经济[edit]

社区总面积1.699平方千米，下设4个居民小组，有3087人、661户（年份未注明），耕地554亩，另有山林120亩、塭田130亩。[1]当地以农业为主，外出务工者六百五十余人，人均纯收入在2013年为3298元。[1]2026年3月，社区入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
