兴归社区位于汕头市潮阳区文光街道，划为主城区，社区名由兴让、归厚两个居民区合并而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以前叫兴归乡。1952年分成兴让、归厚两个居民区，1958年重新合一，沿用今名；1999年称兴归居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

潮阳西园位于辖区内的西环城路东侧，邑人萧钦所建，清光绪二十四年（1898年）开工，宣统元年（1909年）完成。[1]
