古帅社区位于汕头市潮阳区文光街道，划为城乡结合区，旧名古戍村：古时此地在县城郊外，设有护城营地，驻军守卫县城。清光绪五年（1879年）村里立的“廉明知县正堂樊示”碑上刻有“古帅”，于是改称古帅村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1994年以后设古帅居民委员会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
辖区约1.3平方千米，324国道穿过，境内有区人民法院和一些企业，商贸企业共84家。近年把200亩塭田改成鱼池；海外侨胞王大立出资办了王大立学校，又出钱装自来水管、修水泥路和路灯。[1]
