金兴社区是汕头市金平区金东街道所辖社区，居委会驻凤凰山路36号的汇悦春天综合楼B幢101号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区由金墩居委会拆分而来，名称取「金墩」的「金」字，「兴」字取兴旺的吉义。设于2011年11月7日，当时归东墩街道，2019年划入金东街道。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东临东厦北路，南到龙湖沟，西到排灌渠，北接华山北路，面积0.34平方千米，辖6个居民小组；区内设有水岸名都、金墩园和市福利院，主要道路为华山路、东厦路、凤凰山路。[1]
