湖东社区是珠海市金湾区红旗镇下辖的社区，地处白藤湖东面，因此得名。[1]社区内立有抗台风暴潮殉职同志纪念碑，是区级文物保护单位。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区因位于白藤湖以东，后来正式定名“湖东社区”。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

抗台风暴潮殉职同志纪念碑在湖东居委会北侧，建于1980年，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑；2011年4月29日，被公布为金湾区第一批区级文物保护单位。[2]
