据博雅地名网，“富山”二字取自当地的虎山村（旧名华山）和荔山村等村名，寓意“富强之山”。[1]
经济[edit]
百度百科介绍，富山工业园经广东省政府批准成立于2006年，属省级开发区，2009年3月正式挂牌，后在2012年被纳入国家高新区；规划面积152.53平方千米，2021年起园区管委会成为斗门区政府的派出机构。园区的产业集中在电子信息、高端装备和新能源新材料三个方向。[2]
