历史沿革[edit]
狮群立村于清乾隆年间；建国初期隶中山县第八区乾东乡，其后依次为狮群大队（1965年起隶斗门县乾务公社）、狮群乡（1984年）、狮群村委会（1986年）。[1]百度百科称，李姓先祖于清嘉庆年间从新会崖西迁来定居，曾用名团结大队。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村域内主要山岭是海拔130米的烟管髻山。到2015年底，户籍人口为550人，说粤方言。[2]
经济[edit]
村里传统上种水稻、甘蔗，20世纪90年代起转向水产养殖和出租房屋。现存广府民居30座，天王庙始建于清代，1998年重建。[2]2026年1月，狮群村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
