湾口村是珠海市斗门区乾务镇的行政村，建于清乾隆元年（1736年），因三面环山、仅西面有湾形出口而得名，是珠海最大的鳗鱼养殖基地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
湾口村在乾务镇南部，旧称“东湾里”。清乾隆元年（1736年），何氏始祖群显、群富兄弟为躲避贼寇滋扰，带领家族迁来聚居，形成此村。[1]建国初期隶中山县第八区乾东乡；其后依次为湾口大队（1965年起隶斗门县乾务公社）、湾口乡（1984年）、湾口村委会（1986年）。[1]

村域面积约2.6平方千米，约2000多人，以何、黄、梁三姓为主。[1]
经济[edit]
湾口地处咸淡水交汇处，养鳗为村里的特色产业。奖项方面：2020年8月，名列广东省农业农村厅公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（鳗鱼）；2021年10月，农业农村部认定为「第十一批全国一村一品示范村镇」（鳗鱼）；2024年，「斗门鳗鱼」进入全国名特优新农产品名录。[1]
2023年11月，湾口村入选「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月，又在广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单之列。[1]
