历史沿革[edit]
百度百科记载，村由梁氏先祖白石在宋末元初开基立业而成，早先以“前临雾海，后枕乾峰”称乾务村，后来因位于乾务西侧而改叫乾西村。[2]建国初期叫乾务西区，隶中山县第八区乾东乡；此后名称依次是：乾西大队（1965年起隶斗门县乾务公社）、乾西乡（1984年）、乾西村委会（1986年），今仍用后者。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村后有海拔317米的大岭髻山，东北有“大跃进”年代修建的乾务水库，村南有新河流过；东邻乾东村，北接乾北村，西连荔山村。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
莲花山古井位于山的南坡，开凿于宋末元初乾务村场向外扩展的年代，1831年（道光辛卯）修过一次。井深约5米，口径1.36米，修缮时井口上部加砌青砖，再用四块花岗岩条石把圆口围成方口。井水清冽，常年不干，村民至今取用。2011年7月它被公布为斗门区文物保护单位。[1][3]
蛤婆岭上有座黄錀古墓，最初是明代进士黄錀的祖父黄宏道的坟，造于正统六年（1441年），崇祯十五年（1642年）由后人重修；百度百科称它在1988年被公布为斗门县（今区）文保单位。[1][4]
2026年1月，乾西村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
