历史与人口[edit]
上早禾村形成于清代，是分村的结果，清代归新安县管辖；1958年以后先后归红色公社、观澜公社等，到2011年才划入龙华新区的大浪街道。[1] 世居的村民是客家人，以彭姓为主，村里保留着约20座客家传统民居和两座2005年重修的彭氏宗祠。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村中有一座约30米高的松山排，早禾沥河从东边流过；邻近的村落有下早禾、元芬、黄麻埔和龙胜。[1] 以前以农业为主，如今集体经济靠出租厂房，村民收入多是分红和房租。[1] 春节吃圆笼粄、米饼，是村里的传统食品。[1]
