历史沿革[edit]
下横朗村始建于清康熙年间（1662至1722年），因村北有山岭横挡去路，得名“横朗”。[1] 钟氏先在这里定居，后来廖氏迁到北部另成一村，称上横朗，原来的村子便改称下横朗。[1] 村里走出过兴中会会员钟水养，他参与组织了乌石岗起义，并配合三洲田起义。[1]
社区调整[edit]
2023年1月4日原横朗社区分设，上横朗居委会归上横朗社区，下横朗居委会归同胜社区，原同胜社区的名称改给了这里。[2][3] 同胜社区面积约2.603平方千米，据博雅地名网总人口40952人，其中户籍人口4496人，辖区有4个城中村（下横朗新村、富裕新村、玉田花园和同胜综合小区），另有两处广场：劳动者广场和同胜文化广场。[3]
