桥东社区是广东省深圳市盐田区沙头角街道下辖的社区，处在沙头角的中心地段，东起海涛路，西到沙头角口岸，南起中英街关口，北至沙盐路。它的前身是官路吓居委会，成立于1984年7月。[1][2]

据盐田区政府网站的社区介绍，桥东社区原称官路吓居委会，1984年7月成立。博雅地名网则解释，社区名称缘于它位于沙头角中英街桥的东侧。[1][2]

地理环境与人口[edit]

社区面积约0.7平方千米。盐田区政府网站发布的介绍（2026年6月）称辖区共10191人，包括户籍居民5605人、非户籍居民3769人，另有港澳台居民802人、外国人15人；博雅地名网所录较早的数字为3227户13150人，户籍2758人、流动人口10392人。[1][2]

辖区有天富花园、海滨花园、瀚海翠庭、桥东丽苑、中英街壹号、盛世名门等住宅小区，以及田心市场、桥东街等，商业较繁荣，住宅集中，人口密度大。[2]

文化[edit]

社区党委下设12个党支部，设有党群服务中心、民意表达工作室、老年人协会和长者服务站，活动场所内有图书室和长青老龄大学。[1]
