龙西社区在龙岗街道西北部，北邻惠州市惠阳区新圩镇，东邻坪地街道，南到盐龙大道，西邻五联社区，面积9.22平方千米。[1][2] 辖区总人口约5.5万，户籍人口6018人。[1] 社区2016年划入龙岗街道。[3]

居民小组与集体经济[edit]

社区分10个居民小组，包括老围、李屋、石溪、玉湖、楼吓、新联等；商品住宅方面有两个花园小区，珑禧雅苑和岸上林居。[1] 集体经济由龙西股份合作公司经营，每个居民小组一个分公司，股东共1592人。[1]

社区组织[edit]

社区的党组织2004年3月1日成立，起初是总支部委员会，2016年5月改为社区党委；现有党员161名。[1] 社区工作站在岗聘员72人，划分50个网格，出租屋共3496栋、41479套，辖区有工厂企业530家。[1] 社区内有球场、街心公园、红花岭公园和文化广场。[1]
