沙三社区是沙井街道下辖的社区，因地处沙洲、井水涌沙，又按序排为第三而得名，社区内有宝安区文物保护单位沙井蚝加工厂。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前属宝安县，解放后曾称沙井东风大队、沙井沙三村民委员会。1992年东风村一分为三，沙三、沙四与衙边各立村委会；1993年1月改称沙井沙三村委会；到2004年7月，因城市化改制而改设沙三社区居民委员会。2022年3月名列首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
沙井蚝加工厂在蚝三水产综合市场后面，是宝安区文物保护单位。博雅地名网记为1955年建成投产，朝向东南，砖木结构，建筑面积350平方米，设煮蚝房、机房、烘干车间和晒场；百度百科则记为1953年兴建、1954年建成，称其为当时广东省规模最大的蚝业加工厂，日加工能力500担熟蚝，2010年9月公布为区文物保护单位。[1][2]
