东塘社区在沙井街道中西部，辖区面积约0.8平方公里（含插花地），南接沙头社区，北邻辛养社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属宝安县，解放后称东塘村民委员会。1987年1月，朝阳大队分为沙一村、沙二村、东塘村。1993年1月改称沙井东塘村委会；到2004年7月，因城市化改制而成立东塘社区居民委员会。2022年3月名列首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
