蚝业社区是广东省深圳市宝安区西乡街道中心区的社区，面积1平方公里，居民主要以养蚝为生，1958年成立蚝业生产大队。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区因居民主要以养蚝为生而得名。[1]

蚝业生产大队建于1958年；次年宝安县编成13个公社，蚝业划给西海（蛇口水产）公社。1983年7月改为蚝业乡，属西乡区公所；1985年4月西乡区并入新县城、组成新安镇，蚝业变成该镇的管理区；1986年11月管理区换成村委会，1994年1月起归西乡镇。2004年7月30日，蚝业社区居委会挂牌。[3]

地理环境与人口[edit]

社区在街道中心区，总面积1平方公里，以西乡河、海城路、兴业路、宝源路为界，另包括沙头坊一带。住户以原居民为主，2013年末户籍650人，暂住1.82万人。辖区有坪洲小学和中英公学。[2]

荣誉[edit]

蚝业社区于2022年8月列入「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
