庄边社区是广东省深圳市宝安区西乡街道北部的社区，面积0.7平方公里，1996年由西乡村分设为行政村，2004年改为社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区由庄边村委会改制而来。1986年10月宝安县区乡改镇村，同年12月庄边生产队所属的西乡人民政府改称西乡村委会，生产队也改称村民小组，隶新安镇；1994年1月西乡镇恢复建制，改归西乡镇。[1][3]

1996年10月西乡村委会分设四个村委会，庄边从自然村升为行政村，2004年7月城市化改制后更名社区居委会。[3]

地理环境与人口[edit]

这是0.7平方公里的村改居社区，在街道北部，四邻为流塘（东）、河西（南）、凤凰岗（西）、铁岗（北）。辖区含金庄园、新庄园、庄边新村和庄边工业区，共有出租屋236栋。2013年末户籍310人，暂住约7900人。[2]

庄边社区于2022年8月列入「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
