历史沿革[edit]
“固戍”的得名，据当地的说法，是历代官府在这片临海之地驻军戍边、巩固海防。[1]
建国之初，固戍归黄田联乡；1951年单独设乡，属第一区，1954年划到第五区。1958年撤区并乡后并入西乡大乡，当年10月建固戍生产管理区，列在超英人民公社之下；西乡公社于1960年接管，次年更名固戍管理区，改由新安镇领属，1986年又叫固戍村。[3]
1993年定名西乡镇固戍村民委员会，2004年8月随城市化改制转为社区；2008年3月，旧的固戍社区居委会撤销，改设新的固戍、南昌两个社区居委会。[3]
另据博雅地名网所载，其前身固戍村始建于元末明初，已有600多年；2019年，以宝安大道为界，原固戍社区又分为固戍、固兴两个社区。[4]
地理环境与人口[edit]
社区位于街道北部，以107国道为东界，西抵珠江口，北隔三围社区，南隔盐田社区，总面积9.8平方公里。居民大多于明末清初迁来；2013年末本地户籍者1986人，而暂住者逾25万。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
文昌阁在固戍村南，清乾隆年间始建，此后于1873年、1875年和1934年三度修缮，现为深圳市文物保护单位。[1][5]
西乡街道在2024年的工作总结中提到，已完善固戍风情街区的公共配套设施，并启动重点区域的房屋外立面改造。[6]
荣誉[edit]
固戍社区在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年3月，被深圳市住房和建设局认定为第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区；2024年4月，入选《深圳市第一批地名保护名录》。[1]
